ACEO

A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.

George Patton

He who has never learned to obey cannot be a good commander.

Aristotle

Do what you feel in your heart to be right–for you’ll be criticized anyway.

Eleanor Roosevelt

Become the kind of leader that people would follow voluntarily; even if you had no title or position.

Brian Tracy

Leadership cannot just go along to get along. Leadership must meet the moral challenge of the day.

Jesse Jackson

A great leader’s courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position.

John Maxwell

So much of what we call management consists in making it difficult for people to work.

Peter Drucker

A leader is a dealer in hope.

Napoleon Bonaparte

A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.

Lao Tzu

Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.

General George Patton

ACEO as a Social Partner

In this area we are building a strong relationship with government and the other social partners and we play an increasing role as a government advisor and as the third pole among the social partners. As a result, we participate in the social dialogues and the discussions on important issues as:

  •     Competitiveness
  •     National Social Security
  •     Reformation of the Taxation System

ACEO participated in the National Council for Competitiveness, as well as in Governmental committees, as for example  the National E-Business Forum, Committee for the support of new Entrepreneurs.
The ACEO provides its views and position on important issues to the Government either alone or together with other social partners.
We are extremely happy that in the past some of the main requests of our Association for Social Security and Taxation issues submitted to the Government.
The ACEO strongly beleives that the professional General Managers are the 'bridge' that brings together the stakeholders. They are the main communication vehicle among employers and employees. They know, better than anybody else, the just interests of each party. Therefore, the General Managers constitute a 'third pole', which can offer valuable assistance in establishing the appropriate labor relations.
